* AC drive (electric): The RXV’s drive train uses an alternating current motor and not the direct current motor traditionally used. This AC drive generates more power and longer operating time between battery charges. In fact, the RXV is up to 30% more efficient than direct-current golf cars. This is unprecedented performance for an electric golf cart.
* Dual-braking system (electric): The RXV park brake automatically engages when the cart stops without touching the brake pedal. For steep slopes, the braking system engages automatically and can holds its on even on a 40-percent grade.
* Energy transfer bumpers (electric and gas): Impacts are absorbed by the front, back and side bumpers, and transfers that energy to the frame – not the engine or components. The bumpers are rated up to 5 MPH collisions.
